Teknologiske og organisatoriske endringer og eldre arbeidstakeres tilknytning til arbeidsmarkedet

Abstract

Flere menn over 60 år i virksomheter som har tatt i bruk nye produksjonsprosesser går av med tidligpensjon enn i virksomheter som ikke har tatt i bruk nye prosesser. Videre blir mannlige arbeidstakere over 60 år i virksomheter med høye (forventede) teknologiske endringsrater lenger i jobb enn tilsvarende arbeidstakere i virksomheter med lavere teknologiske endringsrater. Effekten fra nye prosesser er ment å fange opp ikke-forventede endringer i teknologi og er en tidsserieeffekt, mens effekten av forventede teknologiske endringsrater er en tverrsnittseffekt. Organisasjonsendringer øker 40-åringenes andel av lønnen i foretakene, mens det motsatte er tilfelle for 50-åringene. Verken de yngste eller eldste arbeidstakernes lønnsandeler påvirkes av endringer i organisasjonen eller innføring av nye produksjonsprosesser. Artikkelen baserer seg på to studier av sammenhengen mellom teknologiske og organisatoriske endringer og eldre arbeidstakeres arbeidsmarkedstilknytning.
