Abstract

Temaet for oppgaven er ensomhet og sosial isolasjon hos eldre. Med denne oppgaven ønsker jeg å sette fokus på tiltak som kan redusere ensomhet og sosial isolasjon hos eldre hjemmeboende. Problemstillingen jeg har valgt ut i fra tema er: ”Hvordan kan sykepleier bidra til å redusere ensomhet og sosial isolasjon hos eldre hjemmeboende som mottar hjemmesykepleie?” Hensikten med oppgaven er å få en bedre innsikt i hvordan hjemmesykepleien kan bidra til at de eldres sosiale situasjon bedres. Metoden jeg har brukt i oppgaven er en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Funnene viser at ensomhet og sosial isolasjon er et økende problem blant dagens eldre, men at graden varierende fra bruker til bruker. Yte omsorg, skape relasjoner basert på tillitt og forståelse, samt være sosialt å tilstede hos brukerne er faktorer som spiller en vesentlig rolle for å bedre hverdagen til de ensomme og sosialt isolerte.
