Skoleutvikling og læring i forskende partnerskap. Prosjekt «Zebra» i lys av aksjonsforskning

Abstract

English: This report is based on a co-operative venture between myself (a researcher from Hedmark College of Higher Education) and teachers from Ådalsbruk elementary school where I have been doing counselling and action research in the project «Zebra», a broad school improvement project. The report is also based on a project about permanent informative dialogues between pupil and teacher, financed by The Research Council of Norway as part of the programme: Knowledge development in professional education and practice (KUPP). The research project, which runs parallel to project «Zebra» until 2005, has made it possible to use a theoretical framework and look deeper into the material presented here. An important aim of the action research has been to analyse and develop the permanent informative dialogue as a planning- and development strategy between teacher and pupil with a view to inclusive education, as laid out in Education Acts, regulations and the National Curriculum (L97). The report is in two parts. The first part is a presentation of the theory and main conceptions of action research, action learning, empirical research, field work, permanent informative dialogue, counselling, supervision and methods. The second part presents experiences from the counselling and the research based on analyses of syllabus books, counselling, pupils’ suggestions, learning sessions, a method for stimulated recall based on video, meetings for assessment, and some perspectives pointing ahead. Enclosed documents describe the co-operation between Ådalsbruk and Hedmark College of Higher Education, and give access to information sent to parents, sub-reports and other material in the project «Zebra».

Rapporten består av to hoveddeler.
