Abstract

"Olie trekken". Als je dit als tandheelkundig zorgprofessional aan je patiënt zou aanbevelen, zou menigeen je vreemd aankijken. Noem je het in plaats daarvan ‘oilpulling’, dan staat het in diverse lifestyleblogs en gezondheidsmagazines en is er vast een groep mensen die daar fanatiek mee bezig gaan. Zeker als ook Rens Kroes er enthousiast over is. Met oil-pulling spoel je olie met een soort trekkende en duwende beweging tussen je tanden en kiezen door, voor maar liefst 15-20 minuten.
