Abstract

Świat stoi w obliczu największych w historii przemian cywilizacyjnych, rewolucja informacyjna zapoczątkowana powstaniem komputera, na naszych oczach zmienia nie tylko technologie, procesy produkcyjne ale w praktyce całą cywilizację. Proces globalizacji gospodarki jest jednym z najważniejszych efektów rewolucji informacyjnej. Wciąż jednak nie dostrzega się ogromnych zmian jakie wywołuje ona w obszarze edukacji, a szczególnie szkolnictwa wyższego.
