Abstract

W pracy omówiono różne zachowania i postawy konsumentów oraz istotę etnocentryzmu konsumenckiego. Przedstawiono metodologię badawczą tego zjawiska z uwzględnieniem CETSCALE. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono badaniom (ankieta oraz wywiad bezpośredni) przeprowadzonym w Zawadzie - dzielnicy Nowego Sącza - na próbie 150 respondentów. W oparciu o przeprowadzone analizy można wywnioskować, ze mieszkańcy Zawady, generalnie wykazują postawy etnocentryczne w swoich wyborach rynkowych. Widoczny jest również wpływ cech demograficznych na poziom etnocentryzmu konsumenckiego badanej grupy.
