Wzrost gospodarczy w Europie Środkowo Wschodniej

Abstract

Wzrost gospodarczy jest ważnym zagadnieniem ekonomicznym. Praca ma na celu przybliżenie tego pojęcia. Wysokość wzrostu gospodarczego świadczy o kondycji, w jakiej znajduje się gospodarka danego kraju. Wzrost gospodarczy mierzą wskaźniki o charakterze ilościowym i jakościowym. Wyróżnia się endogeniczne oraz egzogeniczne modele wzrostu. Wzrost gospodarczy w okresie komunizmu był niższy w krajach komunistycznych w porównaniu do wolnorynkowych państw Europy Zachodniej. Kraje Europy Środkowo Wschodniej, po okresie przemian politycznych roku 1989 i załamaniu gospodarczym, zaczęły odrabiać dystans gospodarczy dzielący je od średniego poziomu Unii Europejskiej. Analizując dane historyczne można dokonać prognozy, jak poszczególne kraje Europy Środkowo Wschodniej będą zbliżać się do poziomu rozwoju Unii Europejskiej.
