Temat pracy to zjawisko przemocy w rodzinie. Jej celem było zdobycie jak najszerszej wiedzy na ten temat oraz pełna jej interpretacja w oparciu o literaturę przedmiotu. Pokazano w niej całe spektrum form przemocy i jej skutków w odniesieniu do osób, które przemocy doświadczają. Wskazano działania interwencyjno – pomocowe ze strony odpowiednich służb, a także obowiązki i zadania spoczywające na administracji rządowej i jednostkach samorządu terytorialnego. Pokazano zjawisko przemocy jako istotny problem współczesnej rodziny i społeczeństwa. The topic of work is the phenomenon of domestic violence. Its aim was to obtain the widest possible knowledge on the subject and to interpret it fully based on the literature on the subject. It shows the entire spectrum of forms of violence and its effects on people who experience violence. The intervention and assistance activities on the part of the relevant services were indicated, as well as the duties and tasks of government administration and local government units. The phenomenon of violence was shown as an important problem of the contemporary family and society.
