Temat pracy to zjawisko przemocy w rodzinie. Jej celem było zdobycie jak najszerszej wiedzy na ten temat oraz pełna jej interpretacja w oparciu o literaturę przedmiotu. Pokazano w niej całe spektrum form przemocy i jej skutków w odniesieniu do osób, które przemocy doświadczają. Wskazano działania interwencyjno – pomocowe ze strony odpowiednich służb, a także obowiązki i zadania spoczywające na administracji rządowej i jednostkach samorządu terytorialnego.
