Polimedicación en personas mayores con discapacidad

Abstract

Objetivo: conocer la frecuencia de la polimedicación en personas mayores con discapacidad. Material y métodos: seleccionamos 181 expedientes de personas discapacitadas mayores de 65 años, valoradas en el CADEX de Cáceres entre octubre de 2011 y octubre de 2012. Estudio descriptivo, observacional, transversal y retrospectivo. Se creó una ficha con datos de sexo, edad, grado de discapacidad, número de fármacos consumidos, número de fármacos genéricos y diagnósticos clínicos. Los fármacos se agruparon según la clasificación ATC oficial en España. Los datos fueron analizados estadísticamente; para la inferencia se empleó el test de ANOVA.
