La literatura infantil árabe
En este artículo se estudia la historia de la creación literaria infantil y juvenil en el mundo islámico y en lengua árabe. Sus orígenes se establecen a mediados del siglo XIX, con el renacimiento literario árabe que cobrará fuerzas a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Está influenciada por los focos egipcio y libanés, centros que recogían una mejor infraestructura educativa y mayor predisposición cultural y por tanto literaria. Se hace un análisis crítico de la literatura infantil tradicional y se compara la literatura infantil con el drama árabe contemporáneo. Finalmente, se estudia comparativamente la literatura infantil árabe y la literatura infantil universal en el contexto del Año Internacional del Niño.
