Abstract

Diversas investigaciones han señalado una relación entre ciertas habilidades psicolingüísticas, la lectura y algunas habilidades musicales como la discriminación rítmica, melódica y armónica. Se describen dos programas de entrenamiento en conciencia fonológica, uno de los cuales incluye actividades didáctico-musicales, en 97 niños de Educación Infantil de diferente lengua materna, 45 de lengua materna española y 52 tamazight (dialecto de transmisión oral hablado en el Rif de Marruecos). Los resultados indican que los dos programas de intervención mejoran tanto la conciencia fonológica como el conocimiento prelector de los niños de ambas lenguas, y que el programa que combina fonología y música resulta más eficaz que trabajar la sensibilidad o las rimas y la memoria verbal a corto plazo.
