Estereotipos de género en los contenidos audiovisuales infantiles

Abstract

Se lleva a cabo, mediante tratamiento estadístico, un análisis cuantitativo de variables relacionadas con contenidos sobre la transmisión de estereotipos de género, emitidos en programas y espacios publicitarios dirigidos al público infantil en televisiones públicas y privadas nacionales durante el año 2004. Para ello se estudia la presencia del género masculino y femenino en la programación infantil, destacando una mayor transmisión de imágenes estereotipadas en el ámbito publicitario. Se propone regular esta transmisión de estereotipos con el objetivo de promover un cambio social que abogue por la igualdad de hombres y mujeres..
