El tiempo escolar de los alumnos en Europa

Abstract

Se representa y analiza, mediante gráficas comentadas, el número mínimo recomendado de horas lectivas y periodos de vacaciones anuales de los alumnos (de primaria y secundaria) de distintos países de Europa, la relación entre horas de clase y rendimiento en PISA (prueba de lectura) y los porcentajes de tiempo dedicados a cada una de las materias en función del tiempo lectivo total (estas dos últimas para alumnos de secundaria), con el objetivo de comparar el nivel educativo de nuestro país con el resto de países europeos. Los resultados obtenidos concluyen que España presenta el mayor número de horas lectivas anuales en educación secundaria, una relación poco eficaz entre tiempo de clase y rendimiento en PISA y, a excepción de Reino Unido, un porcentaje menor de dedicación a las distintas materias..
