Abstract

Para que exista aprendizaje son absolutamente necesarios unos medios de comunicación, que a través de los sentidos, gusto, oído, tacto y sobre todo la vista, trasmitan las sensaciones, las experiencias y, en definitiva, el conocimiento. Solamente una tercera parte del aprendizaje llega por los canales escolares, sin embargo, la escuela es la encargada de formar las capacidades que sirven de tamiz selectivo para filtrar toda la información que llega del exterior. Es importante que el alumno aprenda a 'ver' y no sólo a 'mirar', desarrollando su capacidad de expresión y comunicación, basada en el lenguaje visual. En este contexto se propone una actividad para el estudio del arte en la que, como punto de partida, se analiza la naturaleza de la obra así como los elementos plásticos de la misma; a continuación se desarrolla el análisis histórico con el estudio del contexto de la obra y una breve biografía del autor seguidamente se describe el tema mediante un estudio iconográfico. Finalmente se debe llevar a cabo un análisis comunicativo, es decir, lo que se interpreta de la obra, que comprende el concepto de la imagen en la época; la inclusión de la obra dentro del contexto artístico, por último se propone un estudio del significado profundo, un estudio iconológico.
