Colegio Estudio : un modelo bibliotecario entre la tradición y la innovación

Abstract

Se presenta la historia del Colegio Estudio de Aravaca (Madrid). En el colegio apenas hay libros de texto, se utilizan los recursos bibliográficos y el fomento de la lectura desde edades muy tempranas. El quehacer de los niños se va archivando para formar un cuaderno al final del curso que sirva como memoria del esfuerzo realizado. El colegio está estructurado según edades en cuatro secciones con su propia biblioteca. Las bibliotecas del Colegio Estudio conforman un modelo de innovación docente y de buenas prácticas sostenido a lo largo de los setenta años de existencia del centro.
