Abstract

Un desafío siempre presente en la vida de cada persona es procurar conocerse a sí misma y a las personas con las que se relaciona o pretende relacionarse. Una de las formas de responder a este desafío se asienta en el conocimiento de los estilos de aprendizaje predominantes en cada persona. Además del concepto de estilo de aprendizaje, su identificación y caracterización, se presenta una adaptación y validación del Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA) para lengua portuguesa. Se evidencia el proceso de validación, así como los procedimientos y criterios que permiten utilizarlo en contextos reales. Se desatacan las principales características asociadas a las personas con niveles de preferencia elevados en los estilos activo, reflexivo, teórico y pragmático. Se concluye que una versión del cuestionario CHAEA para lengua portuguesa es un instrumento de recogida de datos acerca de las características de las personas asociadas a los estilos referidos, constituido por 20 ítems, 20 relativos a cada estilo de aprendizaje, distribuidos aleatoriamente por el cuestionario.
