Abstract

Se parte del doble objetivo de la educación : transmitir y renovar la cultura, para hacer un análisis de la creatividad centrada en la relación creatividad-educación. Se inicia con una reseña histórica para exponer la creatividad como una dimensión fundamental del concepto de educación que los organismos internacionales promueven en todo el mundo citando, entre otros, el publicado por la UNESCO en 1972 titulado Aprender a ser. Se citan algunas investigaciones sobre creatividad realizadas en Estados Unidos . Se exponen; los problemas de la formación de la creatividad; los criterios para diagnosticarla; las pruebas para detectarla; experiencias sobre creatividad ; actividades creativas y finalmente actitudes creadoras que el profesor debe estimular en el alumno para buscar, organizar, crear, comunicar y expresarse a sí mismo.
