Multiculturalisme a Mallorca

Abstract

El volumen recoge aportaciones de diferentes investigadores al tema de la multiculturalidad y su vinculación con la identidad cultural. Por una parte se analizan los procesos de integración de población extranjera en Mallorca,en base al análisis de los datos cuantitativos, y se presentan diversos estudios específicos: el municipio de Deià, la población magrebí en Sa Pobla, la integración de la población bosniana en Soller y Palma y la relación entre mallorquines y peninsulares. Por otra parte se analizan también aspectos lingüísticos asociados con el multiculturalismo; concretamente el estudio de la lengua dominante en los matrimonios mixtos y el papel de las escuelas extranjeras en el contexto sociocultural de Mallorca.
