Abstract

En mayo de 2004 Brasil aprobó un proyecto para enseñar en la enseñanza media español de forma obligatoria al tratarse el único país de Mercosur que no habla español. Pero a pesar de ello Brasil tiene un territorio muy amplio y hay pocos licenciados en español. En la ponencia se reflexiona sobre la problemática de la formación de los profesores de español, en relación con la comprensión lectora y en las directrices curriculares brasileñas para la Enseñanza Básica. Trata sobre el ambiente que no ofrece condiciones adecuadas para realizarlo.
