Perfiles de una campaña de construcciones escolares en Madrid

Abstract

Se analiza la figura y la labor que llevó a cabo D. Carlos Ruiz, Gobernador Civil de Madrid y Presidente del Consejo Provincial de Educación, durante el gobierno franquista. Carlos Ruiz llevó hasta los pueblos más pobres de Madrid, los de la sierra y los periféricos en general, instalaciones educativas así como casas-escuela para residencia de profesores. Además, dotó a estas escuelas del material escolar que precisaban. Y a muchos barrios y pueblos de Madrid, también ayudó con servicios esenciales como lavaderos, frontones e incluso luz eléctrica. En este artículo se detallan los pueblos e instalaciones que en ellos se dispusieron.
