Un tesauro singular
El Tesauro de la Unesco se editó por primera vez en español en 1985. Se trata de un tesauro multilingüe y pluridisciplinar que cubre los siguientes campos del conocimiento: educación, comunicación, ciencias de la información y biblioteconomía, cultura, ciencias sociales y políticas y ciencias naturales. Recoge terminología en español ordenada alfabéticamente, por facetas o categorías temáticas y con un índice permutado. Se presenta como un listado controlado de términos en español, con su correspondencia en francés e inglés y con unas relaciones establecidas de sinonimia, jerarquía y relación, con el resto de términos que conforman el Tesauro.
