La indiferencia moral en la época mediática

Abstract

La profesora Victoria Camps pronunció la lección inaugural del curso 2006-2007 de Radio ECCA. En la misma, analizó la mutua relación entre indiferencia moral y medios masivos de comunicación. Señaló cómo la moral ciudadana de mandatos fuertes heredada de la tradición bíblica ha sido sustituida, en buena medida, por un laicismo que se identifica con la indiferencia moral. La actuación de los medios de comunicación, sometidos a múltiples servidumbres de mercado, se vuelve un círculo sin salida: son necesarios para la pluralidad democrática, pero generan una contraposición que no significa pluralidad de propuestas o debate real de ideas.
