Abstract

Se propone la necesidad de fomentar hábitos de lectura desde la escuela y se reconoce la importancia que tiene la literatura infantil en la educación de los niños. Se reconoce la dotación de bibliotecas a centros públicos de EGB, fondos editoriales, programa de gratuidad de libros de texto y material didáctico, y la organización de actividades para formar profesores y personal especializado que realiza el MEC. Se destaca la importancia de las bibliotecas como elemento dinamizador dentro de la actividad escolar.
