Abstract

En este artículo se ofrece inicialmente una reflexión acerca de la escuela rural en la década de los ochenta (período de las reformas educativas experimentales) y de los noventa (período de implantación de la LOGSE y la LOPEG) desde diferentes perspectivas: la sociedad y el medio en que se inserta la escuela rural, las personas directamente implicadas (alumnado, profesorado, familias...) y la infraestructura con la que cuenta (centros y tipos de centros, recursos y medios disponibles, ect.). Con ello se prentende realizar un análisis de su realidad en esas décadas, de sus fines, de los medios con que se cuenta y de los modelos de organización escolar e intervención docente en este contexto. Esta reflexión termina en unas conclusiones abiertas sobre un modelo escolar amplio que dé respuesta a la diversidad del medio rural. Posteriormente, ese análisis se continúa desde la perspectiva de la implantación del nuevo sistema educativo. Tomando como referencia la estructura los objetivos y los contenidos de las diferentes etapas educativas determinadas en la LOGSE, se pretende de forma somera profundizar y realizar aportaciones en cuanto a ese modelo escolar posible en el medio rural. Así, se abordan desde este punto de vista cuestiones relacionadas con la educación infantil, la eduación primaria, la educación secundaria, la formación profesional y la eduación de personas adultas.
