Identificación de alumnos con alta capacidade cognitiva

Abstract

Análisis de los métodos de detección de alumnos con alta capacidad cognitiva, a partir de la experiencia de la Universidad de Vigo y el Equipo de Superdotación Intelectual de la Xunta de Galicia. Se estudia el método de Renzulli, el SMPY de Stanley y los de Sternberg y Gardner. Se exponen sistemas objetivos y subjetivos de medición del talento, con sus ventajas e inconvenientes. La conclusión más importante es la necesidad de una concepción multidimensional de la inteligencia, no reducida al coeficiente. El talento incluye aspectos cognitivos, conceptuales y hasta de oportunidad. Existe controversia acerca del momento adecuado para identificarlo, si bien los autores se inclinan por una identificación continua a lo largo de la vida.
