Abstract

Se presenta una recopilación de ponencias dedicadas al estudio de la industria cinematográfica. En la primera de ellas se analiza el film como síntoma de la sociedad, por ser un reflejo de la misma y por la influencia que sobre ella ejerce. La segunda ponencia se dedica a los origenes del cine franquista, su génesis y manifestaciones más destacadas, tomando como ejempo la película 'Raza'. La representación de los arquetipos femeninos en el cine se presenta en la tercera ponencia, analizando el film 'Antonia's line'. La película 'Tierra y libertad' y el tema de la revolución llevada al cine se analizan en la cuarta ponencia, señalando la similitud entre el guión de aquella y la novela 'Homenaje a Cataluña', de George Orwell. La última ponencia se dedica al estudio de la producción cinematográfica fuera de América del Norte y Europa.
