La lectura del món. 'La lectura del mundo'

Abstract

Se realiza un comentario crítico sobre la práctica lectora de principios del siglo XXI. El hábito lector se ha visto entorpecido por el abuso del consumo de imágenes que proporciona la televisión. La realidad que la televisión convierte en espectáculo, es ambigua y por eso, es temible, porque sustituye la forma en que la realidad tiene que existir. Se comentan citas que destacan la observación de la naturaleza como el libro de lectura más instructivo. Seguidamente se explica la realidad lectora actual y se analiza la utilidad del libro electrónico. Se revela que este tipo de lecturas terminan convirtiéndose en fragmentarias. Con dificultad se leerá un libro entero, sino fragmentos diversos, de autores diversos. Se cuestiona este tipo de lectura como una modalidad de consumo de información relacionada con el 'záping'. Se incide en la necesidad de fomentar la lectura que deleite y responda a las inquietudes del lector.
