Abstract

Las dificultades geométricas evidenciadas por los alumnos, son una constante en la educación básica y en la formación de estudiantes para profesor. Apoyados en el Modelo de razonamiento de Van Hiele, y considerando la promoción y el desarrollo de capacidades y habilidades en todo proceso de aprendizaje enseñanza, se muestra el análisis del conocimiento geométrico que tienen estudiantes peruanos en el tema de polígonos, además de dos casos en los que se ha realizado una caracterización del conocimiento del contenido que poseen y de las capacidades y destrezas que evidencian (o no) en dicho tema.
