Retos de la actividad formativa teórica en los nuevos grados de titulaciones técnicas

Abstract

La nueva organización de las enseñanzas universitarias responde, no sólo a un cambio estructural, sino que impulsa un cambio en las metodologías docentes, que centran sus objetivos en las competencias que deben adquirir los estudiantes en el proceso de aprendizaje. Para programar y desarrollar esta labor instructiva-formativa y cumplir los fines básicos de la docencia universitaria, los objetivos se deben orientar para cubrir tanto el dominio de lo cognitivo y procedimental, como el dominio de lo actitudinal. El primero, está referido a la adquisición de conocimientos y habilidades mentales para la comprensión y procesamiento de la información y su correcta aplicación; el segundo está referido a la adquisición de actitudes y hábitos que contribuyen a la consecución de los objetivos propios del proceso de instrucción y a conformar una identidad crítica y abierta a la formación continua y al aprendizaje permanente .
