El emprendimiento femenino en el sector universitario gallego

Abstract

Se parte del efecto positivo que produce la creación de empresas sobre el conjunto de la economía, especialmente en términos de generación de riqueza y empleo para su entorno. También en el ámbito académico, la creación de empresas ha ido creciendo en importancia como instrumento para transferir a la sociedad el conocimiento creado en las universidades y colaborar en su desarrollo económico. Se plantea el objetivo de comprobar si las diferencias de género encontradas en el emprendimiento en general son compartidas por el emprendimiento académico. Para ello, se utiliza los datos extraídos de una entrevista abierta a emprendedoras universitarias gallegas. A partir de un análisis descriptivo, se observa que muchos de los rasgos detectados en el emprendimiento femenino a nivel global se ven replicados en el emprendimiento universitario.
