Mejora del autoconcepto mediante el feedback

Abstract

Comprobar la eficacia del feedback como medio para mejorar el autoconcepto, el rendimiento académico, y sus actitudes y comportamiento escolar.. 310 estudiantes de cuarto, quinto y sexto curso de EGB de centros públicos y privados de Las Palmas.. Se realiza una visión crítica del autoconcepto y el feedback. Trabaja con diversos grupos de cuarto curso de EGB seleccionados por su autoconcepto negativo, a los que sus profesores proporcionan una serie de feedbacks positivos escritos, durante cinco meses, dentro del aula y respetando las condiciones habituales de trabajo. Después selecciona otro grupo de cuarto curso y con un autoconcepto académico negativo, y se les proporciona frecuentes feedbacks, orales y escritos, en 24 sesiones tenidas fuera del aula. Finalmente, cuenta con una muestra de alumnos de quinto y sexto curso, no seleccionados por su autoconcepto académico negativo, a los que en una intervención se les proporciona feedback de distinto signo según el grupo al que son asignados.. Los resultados se analizan a través del procedimiento de comparación de medidas.. Se realizan tres estudios empíricos teniendo todos el feedback como variable independiente.. El autoconcepto se muestra estable y resistente al cambio. Para operar cambios en el autoconcepto académico se requiere que se produzca una intervención positiva, sistemática y duradera de las persona significativas para el alumno, y que el rendimiento académico mejore realmente..
