Entre gitanos y payos

Abstract

Se presenta un proyecto llevado a cabo en el Colegio Público 'Stella Maris' de Cartagena durante el curso 1999-2000, en el cual un espectáculo de títeres ayuda a niños y niñas del tercer ciclo de Educación Infantil (cinco años) a descubrir la convivencia entre payos y gitanos en su propia clase. Los propios niños deciden el argumento, redactan el texto y construyen los muñecos y los instrumentos musicales. La metodología didáctica utilizada propicia la escucha, el respeto a la diversidad, el trabajo cooperativo, el desarrollo de la creatividad y la expresión libre. Se han trabajado, entre otros, objetivos tales como el desarrollo de la creatividad, la expresión, el razonamiento y la comunicación, el fomento de la integración, la confianza y la autoestima y el desarrollo de actividades de respeto, tolerancia y colaboración.
