Abstract

La valoración del Ministerio de Educación de los datos del informe de la OCDE de 2012 es positiva. La puntuación de las pruebas externas de los alumnos mejoran en 16 puntos los obtenidos en PISA. Esta subida en la puntuación situaría a España por encima de países como Francia, Reino Unido e Italia. Por otro lado, la tasa de desempleo en España de la personas tituladas en Enseñanza Secundaria Obligatoria o niveles educativos inferiores es del 24,7 por ciento. Sin embargo, la de aquellos que habían finalizado estudios terciarios es del 10,4 por ciento. El porcentaje de jóvenes de entre 15 y 29 años que ni recibe formación ni trabaja ha aumentado hasta el 23 por ciento. Muchos de estos jóvenes se incorporaron antes de la crisis al mercado laboral en el sector turístico e inmobiliario atraídos por puestos de trabajo sin cualificar. Las instituciones europeas recomiendan que se apoyen las enseñanzas de Formación Profesional. Por último, el informe reitera que el acceso a la educación superior es fundamental para que se produzca una vuelta a la estabilidad económica y al desarrollo social.
