La sociedad del conocimiento se caracteriza por el exceso de información, lo importante, por lo tanto, es establecer procedimientos para seleccionar aquella que sea relevante y borrar el resto. Según el autor, el saber más valioso es saber qué es lo que no se necesita saber.
