De la dirección escolar al liderazgo

Abstract

Se resalta el papel de la dirección escolar para la creación de equipos docentes eficaces y su constante motivación, así como el clima y el entorno escolares adecuados. La dirección escolar se halla sumida en una crisis que se resume en una frase: faltan candidatos. La ausencia de candidatos se debe a la imagen de sobrecarga de trabajo y de responsabilidades; a la personalización en los miembros del equipo directivo cualquier mal funcionamiento del centro escolar; a la falta de preparación para el liderazgo y a la carencia de incentivos salariales para ejercer como directivo escolar.
