UNA INVESTIGACIÓN SOBRE EL CLIMA MOTIVACIONAL EN LAS CLASES DE EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA: UN ELEMENTO DEL ENTORNO A CONSIDERAR POR EL PROFESOR

Abstract

Este estudio analiza las relaciones entre las orientaciones de meta, la percepción del clima motivacional y las creencias de las causas de éxito en las clases de educación física. Se adoptó una perspectiva social cognitiva basada en la relevancia del profesor de educación física como creador del clima motivacional de la clase. 199 adolescentes participaron en el estudio, obteniéndose los resultados a través del cálculo de Modelos de Ecuaciones estructurales. Los resultados mostraron relaciones entre la orientación al ego y la percepción de un clima implicante al ego y la creencia de que el engaño y la posesión de mayor habilidad normativa son las causas de éxito en las clases de educación física. La orientación a la tarea y la percepción de un clima implicante a la tarea se relacionó con la creencia de que la motivación y el esfuerzo son las causas de éxito. Las implicaciones de estos resultados en relación a la importancia del clima motivacional se discuten en el documento.
