LA CIENCIA ESCOLAR VISTA POR LOS ESTUDIANTES

Abstract

Este estudio explora las actitudes de los estudiantes del último curso de la educación secundaria obligatoria hacia la ciencia en la escuela. La actitud de los estudiantes es intermedia, con una ligera tendencia negativa; las actitudes más negativas aparecen en rasgos como el deseo de ser científicos o tecnólogos y las contribución a hacer estudiantes más críticos y escépticos; las actitudes más positivas se centran en la utilidad de la ciencia escolar, su interés y el hecho de que gusta más según el género, la elección de ciencias o el número de libros en el hogar muestran que la segunda variable es la más importante porque genera más diferencias significativas, La estructura del cuestionario muestra un factor principal dominante y tres factores emergentes cuya interpretación es sencilla y su fiabilidad bastante buena. Se interpretan algunos resultados obtenidos y se discuten las implicaciones para la educación científica.
