Abstract

En este estudio se examinan las repercusiones del clima motivacional, generado en las clases de Educación Física, sobre las orientaciones de meta, la motivación intrínseca y los comportamientos disruptivos de los jóvenes. La muestra estuvo formada por estudiantes de un colegio público, de una media de edad de 11,3 años. Durante 4 semanas (12 sesiones), un profesor, formado a tal efecto, intervino en el clima motivacional adaptando las estrategias del TARGET (Epstein, 1988, 1989; Treasure, 1993; Treasure y Roberts, 1995; Cecchini, González, Carmona, Arruza, Escartí y Balagué, 2001). El clima de maestría fue asociado a la orientación hace la tarea, la diversión, el esfuerzo y la competencia hacia el yo, la ansiedad, el desinterés-pasividad, los comportamientos agresivos y la violación de reglas en las clases de Educación Física. Finalmente, se discuten los resultados.
