Imagen corporal, cultura y género

Abstract

En los últimos cincuenta años venimos asistiendo a un incremento en el número de mujeres, aunque también de hombres, que manifiestan insatisfacción con su imagen corporal. También en este periodo de tiempo, los trastornos del comportamiento alimentario, de los que la anorexia y la bulimia son los más conocidos, han aumentado de forma importante. Aquí se reflexiona sobre esta situación, los cambios sociales y cambios de hábitos, la moda y la alimentación.
