El apoyo del profesor

Abstract

En este artículo se examinan sumariamente las relaciones entre motivación y aprendizaje significativo, y se proporcionan algunas pautas para que la intervención del profesor contribuya a que los alumnos se sientan intrínsecamente motivados para aprender. La función principal del docente será contribuir a que los alumnos perciban el sentido del aprendizaje a la vez que sus competencias para ello. Del mismo modo, es importante que los alumnos perciban al profesor como una fuente de ayuda. Favorecer la motivación intrínseca implica el que losalumnos se centren en la tarea escolar, explicando los objetivos del aprendizaje, fomentando la autonomía, centrándose en la resolución y los contenidos de la tarea y valorando los progresos del aprendizaje.
