Los castigos : ¿estrategia educativa aceptable?

Abstract

Se analiza el castigo como instrumento para la educación en el ámbito escolar y en el familiar, su conveniencia o no, sus desventajas y su método de aplicación. No es considerado como el método más eficaz aunque sí necesario en casos muy específicos, ante actitudes repetitivas y claramente intolerables. Se enumeran las desventajas del castigo y se aboga por utilizar estrategias para mandar adecuadamente. Se establecen unas pautas para los casos en que haya que aplicar un castigo, de modo que resulte educativo. Finalmente, también se hace mención al perdón educativo, al hecho de dejar de aplicar una sanción.
