Las competencias parentales en la familia contemporánea : descripción, promoción y evaluación

Abstract

Se reflexiona sobre el concepto de familia, se introduce el de parentalidad y se definen y clasifican las competencias parentales y las funciones de los padres competentes. Además, se plantean diversas situaciones formativas y terapéuticas como medida de apoyo para el ejercicio de la parentalidad positiva y de la intervención en familias vulnerables o en riesgo de exclusión social. Finalmente, se destaca la importancia de la formación y promoción de las competencias parentales para garantizar el correcto desarrollo de todos los miembros de la familia, especialmente de los niños.
