Gallego, castellano y lenguas extranjeras en el sistema escolar de Galicia

Abstract

Se revisa la situación de las lenguas en el sistema educativo de Galicia con un criterio de análisis básico: la integración de los aprendizajes lingüísticos en una perspectiva plurilingüe, y teniendo en cuenta dos parámetros: la formación del profesorado y la organización del currículo. Se concluye que la formación de los docentes sigue respondiendo a pautas básicamente monolingües y que la mayor atención a las lenguas en el currículo no se acompañó del suficiente rigor sociolingüístico y psicopedagógico. Se demanda un reorientación en la formación del profesorado desde una óptica interlingüística y una reflexión sobre la presencia escolar de las lenguas, basada en criterios científicos y en la evaluación de resultados, que permitan asentar las competencias lingüísticas básicas de la enseñanza obligatoria en gallego, castellano y, al menos, una lengua extranjera.
