Aprendizaje integrado sobre literatura crítica de ensayos clínicos en lengua inglesa

Abstract

Se presenta la actividad Clinical Trials and Critical Appraisal enmarcada dentro de la asignatura Prescripción Enfermera y farmacoterapia del tercer curso de Grado en Enfermería de la Universidad de San Jorge. Se implementó durante el segundo trimestre del curso académico 2016-2017 con dos grupos de 45 alumnos. Se trata de una práctica relacionada con el conocimiento de los ensayos clínicos para el desarrollo de nuevos medicamentos y productos sanitarios. En ella los alumnos recuerdan conceptos básicos sobre distintos tipos de ensayos clínicos, aprenden a realizar lectura crítica de la literatura científica, se familiarizan con la información publicitaria dirigida al profesional sanitario y adquieren capacidad de análisis y crítica de esta información. Se describe el desarrollo de la experiencia especificando las actividades realizadas, los objetivos que se persiguen, el personal implicado, los recursos técnicos e infraestructuras, herramientas de aprendizaje utilizadas y la evaluación. Por último, se presentan los resultados obtenidos, las propuestas de mejora, así como los aspectos innovadores que caracterizan la actividad.
