El absentismo escolar en Castilla y León

Abstract

A lo largo del presente trabajo de fin de máster se profundiza en el absentismo escolar, un fenómeno con múltiples consecuencias en nuestra sociedad cuyo abordaje debe ser prioritario tanto dentro de los centros educativos como fuera de ellos. Para ello, es importante conocer, entre otras cosas, qué es el absentismo escolar y qué tipos del mismo existen, cuál es el perfil del alumnado absentista, cuáles son los factores desencadenantes, qué consecuencias se producen y qué medios se emplean actualmente para reducir o poner fin al fenómeno. Lo que se busca con este trabajo es, a partir de una revisión bibliográfica, conocer estos factores y analizar los planes de prevención e intervención de las diferentes provincias de Castilla y León para evitar que se sigan llevando a cabo estas conductas absentistas, consiguiendo, así, mejoras significativas en el alumnado, en el sistema educativo y en la sociedad en general. Es en estas medidas donde la figura del Profesorado Técnico de Servicios a la Comunidad (PTSC), protagonista de esta especialidad del máster, cobra especial relevancia

This final master project aims to analyze truancy, a phenomenon with multiple consequences in our society whose approach should be a priority both within and outside schools. To this end, it is important to know, among other things, what is truancy and what types of it exist, what is the profile of truant students, what are the triggers, what are the consequences and what means are currently used to reduce or end the phenomenon. The aim of this work is, from a literature review, to know these factors and to analyze the prevention and intervention programs of the different provinces of Castilla y León to prevent these absentee behaviors, thus achieving significant improvements in students, in the educational system and in society in general. It is in these measures where the figure of the PTSC, protagonist of this specialty of the master's degree, takes on special relevance
