Relaciones afectivas en comunidad terapéutica

Abstract

Una estructura de Comunidad Terapéutica (C. T.) significa trabajar en contacto directo y cotidiano durante muchas horas. Dicho método, fragiliza la frontera que existe en la relación entre profesional y residente y dificulta la labor del mantener los límites adecuados de dicha relación. Las CC. TT poco profesionalizadas, la escasa formación de los profesionales y el hecho de no tener espacios de debate en los equipos, contribuyen a que se den relaciones afectivas no deseables. A pesar de que estas relaciones afectivas son un tema importante que puede causar verdaderos perjuicios, tanto al usuario, al profesional, como a la entidad, no suelen abordarse en los equipos, o si se hace, es cuando ya han sucedido. En cuanto a relaciones afectivas entre residentes, tampoco se abordan de forma preventiva, por lo que, cuando suceden, casi siempre se resuelven con la expulsión de la C.T de uno, o de los dos implicados. Se analizan algunos factores y se exponene algunas propuestas que ayudaran a prevenir relaciones no deseadas que puedan darse entre los usuarios de CC. TT., o entre los equipos y los usuarios.
