Abstract

A finales del curso 2013-2014 se presentó el informe TALIS-2013 (OECD, 2014), el Estudio Internacional de la Enseñanza y el Aprendizaje que, promovido desde la Organización de Estados para la Cooperación en Desarrollo Económicos, ofrece una panorámica internacional de las percepciones del profesorado de 33 países de todo el mundo. De los múltiples aspectos que se abordan, se seleccionan dos que merecen una mayor atención: la formación del profesorado (inicial, permanente y para el liderazgo) y el prestigio social de la profesión docente.
