La educación femenina durante el Sexenio revolucionario en Jaén

Abstract

Se analizan los inicios del acceso a la educación de las mujeres de Jaén en un momento de libertad de enseñanza, decretada por el gobierno durante el Sexenio revolucionario, y de los nuevos discursos promovidos por la Asociación Libre de Enseñanza. Se tienen en cuenta las resistencias sociales, basadas en la adscripción de roles diferentes que otorgaban papeles sociales distintos a hombres y mujeres, y las dificultades añadidas de una provincia rural como es Jaén.
