Escuela Rural de Olba : palanca de repoblación

Abstract

El novedoso proyecto educativo de la escuela rural de Olba (Teruel) ha logrado frenar la despoblación. El proyecto utiliza el huerto escolar como herramienta transversal para impartir el currículo además de la pedagogía de Freinet y la implicación de las familias. La escuela funciona como un espacio donde conviven alumnos de Infantil y Primaria en grupos heterogéneos, donde los alumnos aprenden a autogestionarse con autonomía y sometiendo cada decisión a debate en asambleas y comisiones donde tienen un papel fundamental las familias. En 2017, la escuela de Olba recibió el primer premio nacional de Huertos Educativos Ecológicos en la categoría de Educación Primaria, galardón impulsado por la Asociación Vida Sana y la Fundación Triodos.
