Consecuencias jurídicas del ciberacoso

Abstract

El acoso escolar en una de las mayores preocupaciones del sistema educativo. Los daños físicos, psicológicos, las secuelas que produce y la alarma que causa, requiere intervención educativa y prevención mediante herramientas de detección. Los protocolos contra el acoso escolar de las administraciones educativas así como las normas que regulan la convivencia en los centros definen los elementos que caracterizan el acoso escolar, el cual se considera una falta muy grave que puede conllevar la expulsión temporal o definitiva del centro (Artículo 124.2 Ley Orgánica de Educación). El acoso escolar no solo se materializa de modo físico y presencial. Las tecnologías de la comunicación han generado situaciones de acoso a través de la red, denominadas ciberacoso o ciberbullying que amplifican la repercusión y consecuencias en la vida diaria de quien lo sufre.
